Equality
We stand for equality. We believe that Navis and Hijras are equal. Both groups receive equal consideration.
Sustainability
For us, the sustainability of our country is very important. We want our future generations to be able to enjoy the island and the beauty of nature as we do. We want to achieve this by using green energy, for example hydropower.
Another way of producing energy is by riding bikes. Everyone has to bike 2 hours a day to make sure there is enough energy. That way everybody has an attractive shape. We also use the sun to gain energy. As we are so fond of green energy, we don't use cars. Large leopards are our means of transport. They are not carnivores, but herbivores. They are tame and can go wherever they want, they are even allowed to go into our houses.
Health
Another thing that is very important to us, is our health. We pay in kind so it is very important that everybody is healthy. We do not use birth control but use plants to make medicines and STD blockers. We live very close to each other; we are a strong community. That’s why we have a special medicine man.
Religious
We are religious people. We strongly believe in a God: Maurini. An Orangutan is our representation of Maurini on earth. Orangutans are endangered so we take care of them very. We built enclosures for them where they can live in peace, we bring them food, like bananas. Our crime rate is very low. That's because we live in peace. Anyone who does something against the rules will be offered to Maurini; who feeds on bad souls.
Traditional
We are very traditional people. We live primitively, that’s why we' re naked but we beautify ourselves with jewels. Our jewellery industry is very famous in our country. We have an annual tongue jewel festival. Every year one person gains honours by wearing the biggest tongue jewel of the country. The main goal is to create a really, long drawn out tongue.

About Us
MaWoMa is an island situated in the centre of earth. The capital of MaWoMa is Transfobia. In our country 70% of the inhabitants are Hijras. A Hijra is a transgender or a third gender. The other 30% of our inhabitants are Navis: just regular men and women.
Our national symbol is a Toucan. The Toucan lives in tropical rainforests and in our country you can find lots of them. We chose a Toucan because it shows gender equality. A Toucan looks exactly the same whether it is male or female. They both have the same colours. Thanks to this bird we can show that in our country it doesn’t matter whether you’re a man, a woman or a third-gender.
We also chose this bird because of its beautiful colours. These colours prove that our country has a lot of energy, beautiful nature, lively people…
Our national anthem is ‘Somewhere over the rainbow’ from Israel Kamakawiwo’ole.
The song is about dreams coming true. The third gender wants to be accepted and in our country, they can be themselves. The song also refers to a rainbow. The colours of the rainbow also represent gay acceptance. Besides, the colours also refer to the happiness and liveliness that live amongst us.
This is as well represented in our flag and our national symbol, the Toucan.
MaWoMa does not have a currency. Our way of thinking is: everyone has to pay ‘in kind’ (by having sex). The reason why is because there are more Hijra’s than Navi’s.
Hijras are not able to reproduce themselves, because they are infertile.
Consequently, we would like the very few men and women in our country to reproduce as much as possible. By paying in kind, they are obligated to reproduce.`
Flag

We believe in UNITY.
RESPECT for each other and nature.

VISION
When we look at the world, we see a world full of corruption and hierarchy. MaWoMa wants to inspire a peaceful and sincere world by being the most democratic country in the world.

COMMUNICATION CHANNEL
In our country, the internal communication is very basic returning to primitive times. We do not use radio, television, social media or any other usual media sources. Now you might think ‘how is this possible? I am looking at your country’s website aren’t I?’
Yes you are, but we only use the Internet for external communication. There are a few people who are allowed to log in into our social media accounts to keep them up to date. The other inhabitants are not allowed to use these channels because we do not want them to get influenced by the online media or to get addicted to this kind of useless stuff. We do not want our people to get brainwashed and we also want them to live with each other and not next to each other. Our country is for pure people and we would like to keep them that way.
In our country, we mostly just talk to each other. When someone wants to tell someone something, he usually just goes to the house of the addressee. When talking to each other is really not possible, we write each other a letter. Everyone in our country has a bird to transport their letters. Birds have been used as mailmen for ages, and we like this kind of communication. It’s easy, good for nature and not addictive.
The paper we use to write our letters, is recycled. Our paper gets recycled a million times, until this is really not possible anymore. Other countries also bring their used paper to our country, so we can recycle it and reuse is.
